Your information, handled with care

Privacy Policy

Effective date: ยท Last updated:

Master Service Technologies LLC ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains how we handle personal information when you visit our website, contact us, discuss or use our services, or choose to receive text messages from us.

Our approach: use information to provide and support our services, limit access to those who need it, and give you meaningful choices about communications.

We do not sell personal information or share it with third parties for their marketing. SMS consent is specific to Master Service Technologies and is not transferable for someone else's marketing.

1. Scope of this policy

This policy covers information we handle for our own website, business relationships, and communications. When we process information on a client's behalf while providing consulting, software, or automation services, the applicable service agreement and the client's instructions govern that processing. This policy does not replace those agreements or the client's own privacy notice.

2. Information we collect

The information involved depends on how you interact with us:

  • Information you provide: your name, business or organization, role, email address, telephone number, and information you include in an email, call, text, inquiry, or service discussion.
  • Service and business records: project requirements, correspondence, agreements, billing details, transaction records, and support requests associated with an engagement.
  • Messaging preferences: the mobile number you provide, SMS opt-in and opt-out status, consent date and method, and message content and delivery records when you participate in text messaging.
  • Technical information: hosting and security providers may process IP addresses, browser and device information, requested pages, timestamps, referral information, and error or security logs to deliver and protect the website.
  • Information from others: a colleague or authorized business representative may provide your work contact details to coordinate an engagement. A referral or supplied phone number does not by itself authorize marketing text messages.

Please avoid sending passwords, full payment-card numbers, government identifiers, or sensitive health or other regulated information through ordinary email or text. If a project requires sensitive information, we will agree on an appropriate way to handle it.

3. How we use information

We use information to answer inquiries, assess and provide services, coordinate projects and appointments, communicate about an engagement, prepare agreements and invoices, handle support, and maintain business records. We also use relevant information to operate and secure the website, investigate misuse, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations.

We may send updates about our own services where permitted by law and consistent with your choices. Marketing text messages require the applicable opt-in consent. We do not use a general website visit or an ordinary inquiry as consent to receive marketing texts.

4. When information is disclosed

We do not sell or rent personal information or provide it to third parties for their own marketing. We may disclose information only as needed for the following purposes:

  • Service delivery: hosting, email, communications, billing, and other service providers may process information on our behalf to support the requested services. Access is limited to the relevant purpose, with appropriate confidentiality and data-handling requirements.
  • Authorized collaboration: personnel, contractors, or professional advisers may receive information necessary to perform an engagement or advise us, subject to appropriate confidentiality obligations.
  • Legal and safety needs: disclosures required by law, legal process, or reasonably necessary to protect rights, prevent fraud, address security incidents, or protect people.
  • Business changes: relevant business records may be disclosed during a merger, acquisition, or reorganization, subject to appropriate protections and this policy's restrictions.
  • Your direction: information may be disclosed when you request or authorize it.

None of these provisions authorizes the sale, rental, transfer, or sharing of mobile numbers, SMS opt-in data, or messaging consent with affiliates, lead generators, business purchasers, or other third parties for marketing or promotional purposes. The text messaging restrictions below apply to all disclosures.

5. Cookies and website tools

The current website does not include advertising pixels or a first-party analytics tracker. Our hosting and security providers may process technical information or use necessary technologies to deliver the site and prevent abuse. External services you choose to visit may use their own cookies under their own policies.

The revenue calculator on our Fiber ISPs page processes the values you enter in your browser; its calculator script does not send those values to us or save them in browser storage. If you include them in a separate email or inquiry, we receive that information as part of your communication.

You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Blocking necessary technologies may affect some services. We do not use this website for cross-context behavioral advertising or sell personal information. Browser privacy signals do not enroll you in or withdraw you from an SMS program; use the choices below for communications.

6. Text messaging / SMS

Read our SMS Terms for the messaging program's terms and conditions.

We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes

Consent and message types

If you opt in to text messages from Master Service Technologies, we may send the messages described when you enroll, such as inquiry responses, appointment or project updates, service notifications, or marketing messages if you separately agree to receive them. We obtain the consent required for the particular message type, including express written consent for automated marketing messages where required.

Providing a phone number or accepting this Privacy Policy is not, by itself, consent to marketing texts. Consent is voluntary and is not a condition of purchasing services. We keep appropriate records of your consent and preferences.

Frequency, costs, and delivery

Message frequency varies based on your requests, engagement, and the program you choose. Message and data rates may apply. Messages may be sent using automated technology where you have provided the required consent. Delivery depends on your carrier and network; carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Opt out or get help

Reply STOP to unsubscribe from the messaging program at any time. You may receive one confirmation of your opt-out; further program messages will stop unless you opt in again. Reply HELP for assistance, or email joseph@masterservicetechnologies.com or call 816-323-2448. You may also contact us directly to withdraw consent or tell us that your number has changed.

Protection of messaging information

Your mobile number, consent records, opt-in status, and text content are used to operate the messaging program, honor your choices, and maintain necessary compliance records. Communications providers may process this information solely to deliver and administer messages on our behalf, subject to appropriate restrictions. They are not authorized to use it for their own marketing. We do not share SMS consent with affiliates or other businesses for their marketing. Necessary legal disclosures do not permit marketing use.

7. Your choices and privacy rights

You can choose what information to provide, although some information is necessary to respond to you or deliver a requested service. You may ask us to update your contact details, stop optional email updates by following an unsubscribe instruction or contacting us, or stop texts as described above. Opting out of marketing emails does not prevent necessary communications about an active engagement.

Depending on where you live and the laws that apply to our business, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information; restrict or object to certain processing; withdraw consent; or appeal a decision about a privacy request. These rights can have legal exceptions. We will handle applicable requests without unlawful discrimination.

Send requests, authorized-agent requests, or appeals to joseph@masterservicetechnologies.com. We may need proportionate information to verify your identity and authority before responding. We will explain applicable exceptions and respond within the time required by applicable law. Where available, you may also complain to your privacy regulator. Requests about data controlled by one of our clients should be directed to that client; we will assist as appropriate.

8. How long we retain information

We retain information for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here, considering the engagement, support needs, accounting and legal obligations, and dispute-resolution requirements. When those needs end, we delete or de-identify information, subject to necessary backup retention and legal holds.

Consent and opt-out records may be retained as needed to demonstrate consent and avoid contacting you after an opt-out. Retaining a suppression record does not authorize further marketing messages.

9. Keeping information secure

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures appropriate to the information and services involved, including limiting access to people who need it. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure. If a security incident requires notification under applicable law, we will provide that notification.

10. International visitors

We operate in the United States. Information may be processed in the United States or other locations where our service providers operate, whose privacy laws may differ from those where you live. Where applicable law requires safeguards for an international transfer, we will use the required safeguards. A website visit alone does not waive your legal privacy rights.

11. Children's privacy

Our website and business services are intended for adults and business users, not children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us so we can investigate and delete it as appropriate.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services or legal obligations change. We will post the revised policy here with an updated date and provide additional notice or obtain new consent where required. Policy updates do not expand your SMS consent automatically.
